Raphaele connaît une certaine célébrité depuis la parution de son premier roman, une oeuvre coquine publiée par son mari Maxime. Un jour, elle reçoit la visite d'une admiratrice, Laura, piquée elle aussi par le démon de l'écriture. Les deux femmes se lient d'une étroite amitié et se voient régulièrement pour se confier sur leurs dernières lectures. Raphaele initie Laura à l'art de la plume, tout en multipliant les pauses récréatives et sensuelles. Raphaele propose finalement à Laura de venir s'installer chez elle, en compagnie de Cédric, son petit ami. Peu à peu, pourtant, le comportement de Laura change inexplicablement...
