Genesis is the debut album by death metal band Job for a Cowboy. It is their first concept album and is based on possible consequences of the VeriChip, tying in with the Book of Revelations and the apocalypse.[1] It would also see Job for a Cowboy change into a more death metal based sound with Doom being a deathcore release. Fans who pre-ordered the album received signed copies in the days preceding its official release date of May 15, 2007.
