'The Clarets Collection' is a must for all followers of the Clarets everywhere, and of more than a passing interest to supporters of other teams as well.

In addition to a dozen songs that are synonymous with the club and the town, there are also some excellent spoken sections by Howard Booth who is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Lancashire. The spoken sections in particular give a flavour of the club's past, including its heyday in the 1960s, as well as some of the more memorable events from recent years.
The songs include offerings from Burnley supporting Chumbawumba with 'Tubthumping' and also A Tribe Of Toffs - who could forget 'John Kettley Is A Weatherman' (Kettley is a loyal Clarets fan for your information.) There are also tributes to Clarets legends, such as Jimmy McIlroy, as well as the obligatory re-workings of 'No Nay Never' in which the club's rivalry with Rovers from just down the road are given an airing. Add to this the rousing 'Tom Hark' by the Piranhas, and the legendary 'O Fortuna' by Carl Orff, and you have a worthy tribute to a waking giant of the football world, and an aural offering that will make the hairs on the back of your neck stand up on end as you listen to this CD on your way to the match.
Cherry Red records, in association with Burnley football club have certainly put together a collection of tracks that would make any Burnley supporter proud.
