First of all, you'll need a program called "discover", you can get this for free from the app store, just follow this link

Once discover is installed connect your ipod to your pc (see the discover help if you have any problems with this)
Once connected upload this file to your ipod.

Choose a song you want to set as alarm, rename it to alarm.mp3 and upload it to the same folder on your ipod.
Once this is done, start discover on your ipod, launch alarm.htm and set the alarm.
