OK. So I had a lot of trouble playing Doom online multiplayer call me crazy. I thought maybe this could help people and get people back playing this classic game.
FIRST
Get Doom and Doom II WADs... i got them here..

Update WADs
Here is a patch. Place the .bat in the same file with the WAD and run the .bat

I also got zDoom to run the games.. and I use Doom 95 sometimes, if You get a .DLL error for doom95 you can download the DPLAY.DLL here:

Just place it in the same folder with the .exe and your set, no error.
SECOUND
Get ZDeamon. It's a multiplayer client.

CONFIG
Click on zLauncher.exe
Put what ever user name and password you want and click new account or register new.
It will load up. And it will prod do an update, this is fine. Then it will list a bunch of games. Now go down the list and connect.
Findling PWADS
When you click on a game that you don't have the custom MOD it will automaticly search and download it for you. amazing.
WAD Errors
Make sure you updated from the patch above. I get a lot of PMs about it saying they have the wronge Wad.. Make sure you update the WAD
Adding Buddies/Friends
You can add friends to your friends list. Click the add a new buddy icon and add me as a friend PLEASE. I enjoy playing online.
Built in IRC/Chat
It's really cool you can click the chat/iRC chat. Talk to me.
Stats System!
WOW! and there is a stats system here's my stats not too great:

Conclusion
I hope this tut was decent. I know it was not that great. I'm sort of writting it from memory. There is still a lot about it I don't know. I just found it and thought there might be some people that don't know how to play multiplayer, that this will help out.
