Hello People,
A lot of people now use TinyURL, However we are currently still developing a number of sites to go into a network, We are currently working on MINI-Url, Which is simply like TinyURL but we want it to be "Safer" by this we mean by blocking as many phising sites as we possible can, We currently already have over 2000 Blocked sites and still counting including those rather annoying sites like MeatSpin which really do make me feel a tad ill.
So what is there new that TinyURL does not have, Well for us users in the UK pings are going to be lower because all of our servers are located in the United Kingdom in a Datacenter.
You can also set your own Alias to the URL Say you want to redirect somebody to Warez-BB for example but want to name it as your name then simply type in ALIAS,
BOB
That is if your name is bob (My name is not bob) You can then give your URL to as MANY people as you want to redirect to Warez-BB.org or a Specific Topic/Post
Stability - We don't just have one server, Currently our main server while typing this has gone off the WWW for some very unkown reason, However you will notice the site is still up and running. We have two HTTP Servers which take the load of our sites, We have TWO Sql servers for our sites they all have around the same amount of infomation on them backed up a couple times a week to make sure we dont lose any of your sites you want to redirect.
