[Mac] Cubase LE 4.
Ladies and Gentleman, i bring you a fully working Cubase 4 copy for MAC.
This is the LE version, but dont let that fool you. The documentation states as follows....

# Pristine 32-bit Floating Point Audio Engine
# 48 Audio / 64 MIDI / 8 Instrument Tracks
# VST Instrument & VST Effect Plug-in Supported
# Audio Editing with Hitpoint Detection

# Cross-Platform: Windows and Mac OS X Universal Binary
States you can only use 2 inserts and 4 sends per track. I have had 6 inserts up and 4 sends, so i'm guessing (somehow) its unlimited.
The elicenser is built in, and you have to register it. Each elicenser is unique, so no code will get blacklisted. please follow this site on how to set it up after the download....

So i'm the guy that found us Cubase 4 LE. Now i bring you AI 4.
This is a stage up from LE and provides us with slight improvements against the LE structure.
VST INSTRUMENTS WINDOW. Within LE this wasn't present, here it is.
More sends/inserts per track.
Better integration as AI is a sub sale for Yamaha, and obvious Yamaha own Steinberg.
More responsive.
And less hassle to register
I know a few people had some problems with LE, but this really is a doddle. If you can't register this you shouldn't be using a Mac.
Comes as an MPKG file, and should* come with the LCC (License Control Center).
*I installed this on my Mac and already had the LCC, so unsure if it comes with one. If NOT, Download it from here...

[Mac] Make Your Dock Prettier.
If you're anything like me, you don't care much for the 3d dock.
Using the 2D dock is ok, but the background is real strong and the white outline is hideous.
BUT, This can easily be sorted. We can lighten up the background and remove the white outline with these simple steps.
Navigate to :
HD - SYSTEM - CORE SERVICES - DOCK
right click on dock and 'show package contents'.
Now you want to copy all 5 'Bottom' pngs, 'right' pngs and 'left' pngs. Make sure your store the copies safely incase you want to go back.
Once done delete the 15 files from the original dock package contents. Now paste in the 15 new files provided in the link below.
Once done, empty your trash. Now, go to terminal and enter :
killall Dock
And there you have it, a prettier dock! Below is a screenshot of my desktop with the dock in place, it fits real nice!

[Mac] Change Leopard's default UI to match iTunes.
One of my earlier posts allowed you to match the default Leopard scrollbars to that of the iTunes ones.
This installer changes the whole leopard UI, it gets completely rid of all the aqua and streamlines the whole interface. Its gorgeous!
I'm aware its freeware, but i've got to share it with you guys!
Comes with easy install/uninstall mkpg.

iTunes has some beautiful blue/gray scrollbars. They fit really nicely into the leopard desktop environment. Shame about the the scrollbars in the main UI!
This can be sorted with some easy copy and pastes, and WITHOUT 3rd party apps that don't let you know whats going on!
First, acquire the necessary file from the link below
Inside you will find 2 files, extras and extras2.
Use extras if you're on PPC and extras2 if youre on intel.
Next navigate to : /System/Library/Frameworks/Carbon.framework/Versions/A/Frameworks/HIToolbox.framework/Versions/A/Resources/
Once there, find the original extras/extras2 file and back it up. This is so that if you want to go back to aqua scrollbars its simple enough.
Now, once backed up, delete the original file. Its then a case of copy/pasting the file given in the download link into that section.
Once done, open a new window that isnt currently open, or better yet log out and back in!
I have the new scrollbars running here and they are sexy!

[Mac] Make your Dock completely transparent!
This is an absolute GOD SEND.
It really is beautiful.
Many leopard hacks to make the dock transparent cause some parts of the screen to become inactive... this doesn't.
Simply install to activate the transparency, and if you dont like it use the uninstaller in 'extras'!
After installtion use this code in terminal to change from the 3d dock to the 2d one -
defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES
Then enter -
killall Dock
