Heres a site that lets you convert youtube videos etc into any format you want. It downloads the video, then converts it, and then gives you the download link for your desired format
All you have to do is paste the url, choose the format, and tadaaa you can download.
It supports other protals also such as dailymotion, Veoh, Metacafe, etc.
There is also a neat FireFox add-on for that site!
